I love Safari. It's the best Web browser I've ever used. Sadly, though, it does a lousy job reading local PDF files. The PDF files on this portfolio CD aren't stored on a Web site, they're right here, right on the disc.
When you click on a link to a local PDF file, Safari is going to open up a standard Mac OS X Finder window and reveal the location of the PDF to you. It's not going to open it for you; you'll need to double-click it.
I know that's a pain. It doesn't happen with any other browser I've tried (and I've tried a lot of them). Much as I love Safari, I have to assume that most of the people who will review this portfolio will be using Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. I have to spin my pages to focus on them.
